Private care is defined as the one-on-one care provided to any individual in any setting by a qualified caregiver. VNA's Personalized Homecare Program was established in 1981 to provide quality home health care at competitive rates on an hourly, shift, or visit basis. All caregivers provided by VNA are licensed and/or certified by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. SERVICES AVAILABLE (Tulsa area only)
StaffingVNA provides RNs, LPNs, and nurse aides for medical centers, clinics, home health agencies, residential facilities, and companies that require a health care provider on site. VNA's role can be as varied as providing additional staff because of vacation, sick-leave coverage, an overabundance of patients, or we can schedule personnel on a regular basis. VNA's certified home health aides, certified nurse aides, and long-term care aides provide personal care, meal preparation, adult supervision, light housekeeping, and transportation of clients. The Facility and Corporate Staffing program benefits its users because VNA provides only highly qualified professionals. VNA's personnel must take and pass a skills evaluation which is administered by the Clinical Manager. Their references, both personal and professional, are checked and a criminal background review is performed. In addition, our Scheduling Department assures shift coverage and our Human Resources Department maintains personnel files, including CPR certification, immunizations, up-to-date automobile insurance verification, and all other requirements. VNA is an Equal Opportunity Employer. RN SupervisionA Registered Nurse (RN) supervises and oversees the care each client receives. An RN makes initial and supervisory visits to the client's home in order to make an accurate assessment of the patient's needs. Employee Screening & Security Reference and background checks are performed on every potential employee. Certification and licenses are verified. VNA provides professional liability and bonding on all employees. A written test and a skills evaluation is performed prior to employment on all licensed and certified staff.Continuing Education for our CaregiversEducational opportunities are provided on topics such as Universal Precautions, Fire and Home Safety, Infection Control, and the proper technique for lifting and transferring patients.
